Memberships Terms and Conditions

BODHI & RIDE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIPS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(Effective for all memberships purchased or signed up from 19 Feb 2025)

Purchasing a membership confirms your acceptance of the terms and conditions below.

Premium Memberships (6-Month Minimum Commitment)

  • Bodhi 5 Premium Membership
  • Bodhi 8 Premium Membership
  • Bodhi 15 Premium Membership
  • Bodhi 15 Weekday Warrior Membership
  • Bodhi 30 Premium Membership
  • Bodhi at Home Subscription: $99/month for unlimited on-demand access to Bodhi At Home classes.
  • Bodhi at Home Subscription + Bike Hire: $199/month (+$50 delivery fee) for unlimited on-demand access and bike hire.


Membership Benefits

  • Use membership credits for Ride classes at all studios.
  • Minimum commitment: 6 months.
  • Billing: Monthly, with a monthly booking window.
  • Rollover: Up to 4 unused credits for 1 month (on request, small admin fee applies).
  • Shareable: Between 2 members (on request, small admin fee applies).
  • Guest Pass: Bring a friend for free once per month (on request).
  • Perks: Free cycle shoe hire, $1 sweat towel hire, $20 top-up credits.
  • Discounts: 10% off studio merch, 50% off Bodhi at Home (on request).
  • Pauses: Up to 4 times/year (on request, small admin fee applies).


Premium Membership Terms and Conditions


1. Class Access

  • Membership credits can be used for any class at any Bodhi & Ride studio.
  • Exclusions: Workshops, events, and pop-ups.


2. Membership Payments

  • Memberships are billed monthly on the same date each cycle.
  • Pausing a membership may change the billing date.
  • If no start date is selected, membership begins on the purchase date.
  • Unused ride credits expire unless a request for rollover is submitted.
  • Memberships cannot be cancelled before the minimum term or refunded.
  • Payments are processed via direct debit or credit card (a valid card must be on file).
  • Failed payments: $10 fee per day of failure.
  • Non-payment for 5+ days may result in debt collection, with fees passed to the member.
  • Memberships auto-renew after the minimum term unless cancelled.
  • Members must ensure sufficient funds and update payment details at least 72 hours before billing.
  • joining fee may apply to certain memberships.


3. Membership Non-Payment & Collections

  • Unpaid memberships may be sent to a collection agency.
  • Continued non-payment may be escalated to VCAT.
  • Any legal fees, taxes, and collection costs will be charged to the member.
  • Payments received are applied first to legal and collection fees, then to outstanding balances.


4. Membership Cancellation

  • To cancel, submit [this form] (XXX).
  • Cancellation is only allowed after completing the minimum commitment period.
  • 3 weeks’ notice required for cancellation.
  • If payment is due within the notice period, it must be paid before cancellation is processed.
  • Paused memberships cannot be cancelled. The membership must restart, process one payment, then submit a 2-week notice.


5. Membership Switches

  • To switch, submit [this form] (XXX).
  • 3 business days’ notice required.
  • One switch per member.
  • Switching resets the minimum commitment period.
  • $10 membership switch fee applies.


6. Membership Pauses

  • At-home memberships cannot be paused.
  • To pause a studio membership, submit [this form] (XXX).
  • $10 pause fee applies.
  • We confirm receipt within 2 working days and process the pause on the requested date.
  • Limit: 1 pause per billing period per quarter (for travel, illness, work commitments).
  • Memberships cannot be unpaused early.
  • While paused, members cannot book classes.
  • To attend during a pause, members must purchase top-up credits.
  • Pauses do not count toward the 3-week cancellation notice.
  • If a pause extends beyond the billing cycle, the billing date shifts ($10 admin fee applies).
  • A pause cannot be extended or shortened. For additional time, the membership must unpause before requesting another pause.
  • Frequent pauses require submission of a Membership Re-Pause Form ($10 admin fee applies).


7. Credit Rollovers

  • Limited rollovers available for select memberships.
  • Must be requested before billing cycle ends via [this form] (XXX).
  • $10 admin fee applies.
  • Rolled-over credits expire 30 days after activation and cannot be extended.


8. Membership Sharing

  • Premium memberships can be shared with one other person upon request.
  • Benefits:
    • Book two spots in a class using shared credits.
    • Another person can book separately under the same membership.
  • Set up via [this form] (XXX), $10 admin fee applies.
  • To stop sharing, notify us via email.
  • Both users must agree to the T&Cs.
  • If more than two people share, membership may be suspended immediately.


9. Bring a Friend for Free (Once a Month)

  • One free guest pass per month.
  • Guest must be new to Bodhi & Ride.
  • Request via [this form] (XXX) at least 3 days in advance.


10. Fee Increases & Terms Changes

  • Bodhi & Ride reserves the right to amend fees and terms.
  • We will provide at least 14 days’ notice via email.


11. Studio: Refunds, No-Shows & Late Cancellations

  • 12-hour cancellation policy applies.
  • No refunds for missed or late-cancelled classes.
  • Cancellations 12+ hours before class: Credit returns to your account.
  • $20 no-show fee applies for unlimited members.
  • Fees automatically applied to accounts.


12. Studio: Waitlist Terms

  • Adding yourself to a waitlist confirms your spot.
  • If a spot opens, you will be automatically added and notified via email.
  • If you can’t attend a last-minute class, do not add yourself to the waitlist.

 

13. Refund Policy

  • Our membership purchases and fees are non-refundable.

BODHI & RIDE LEGACY MEMBERSHIPS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(THESE TERMS APPLY FOR ALL MEMBERSHIPS PURCHASED OR SIGNED UP FOR PRIOR TO 19 FEB 2025)

 

Before you commit to one of our memberships, please ensure you read the terms and conditions outlined below. Your membership purchase confirms that you accept the terms and conditions below.

Monthly Legacy Memberships with 6 month min commitment (2022/23)

 

·      Foundation Membership: $150 per month for 6 credits per month.

·      Rockstar Membership: $240 per month for 15 credits per month.

·      Tribe Membership: $200 per month for 10 credits per month.

·      Off Peak Membership: $160 per month for 10 credits* per month. Only valid for: Monday-Friday rides, mornings/am and lunchtime rides only.

·      Student Membership*: $180 per month for 10 credits per month. Student pricing applies to local full-time secondary and undergrad tertiary students only. A valid student ID is required.

·      Unlimited Membership*: $239 per month for unlimited credits per month. Price may vary depending on the sign-up date.

 

Please note:

- All membership credits can be used for Ride classes.

- Minimum commitment of 6 months.

Weekly Legacy Memberships with 6 month commitment (2022/23)

 

·      Sweat Membership: $40 per week for 2 credits per week.

·      Thrive Membership: $60 per week for 4 credits per week.

·      Elevate Membership: $69 per week for 7 credits per week.

·      Student Membership*: $45 per week for 3 credits per week. *Student pricing applies to local full-time secondary and undergrad tertiary students only. A valid student ID is required.

- All membership credits can be used for Ride classes.

- Minimum commitment of 6 months.

 

 

Monthly Legacy Memberships with 4 month or 6 month min commitment (2023/25)

Minimum commitment of 4 months except the Student Membership, which is 6 months. Monthly billing. Monthly booking window.

 

·      Bodhi 5 Membership: $115 per month for 5 credits per month. Min commitment period is 4 months.

·      Bodhi 8 Membership: $152 per month for 8 credits per month. Min commitment period is 4 months.

·      Bodhi Unlimited Membership: $270 per month for 30 credits per month. Min commitment period is 4 months.

·      Bodhi Student Membership: $175 per month for 10 credits per month. Min commitment period is 6 months. Student ID required. Only applies to full-time secondary and full-time undergrad tertiary students.

 

Please note;

- Sweat towel hire for Members: $1
- All membership credits can be used for Ride classes.

- Monthly billing. Monthly booking window.

- Free cycle shoe hire with every ride.

- Top-Up studio classes reduced to $20 AUD.

- 10% off Bodhi & Ride merchandise and clothing (in-studio only).

- 50% discount for Monthly Bodhi At Home subscription (code sent via email upon sign-up).



LEGACY MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

1. Class Access

Membership credits can be used for any class at any Bodhi & Ride studio.

Exclusions: Membership credits are not valid for workshops, events, or pop-ups.

 

2.     Membership Payments

 

  • Studio memberships are billed monthly or weekly, depending on your plan.
  • Payments occur on the same date each cycle.
  • Bodhi at Home memberships are billed monthly at the start of your billing cycle unless otherwise agreed.
  • All memberships require full payment for the minimum commitment period.
  • If no start date is selected, membership begins on the purchase date.
  • Unused ride credits expire at the end of the billing period.
  • Memberships cannot be cancelled before the minimum term, transferred to others, or refunded.
  • An early severance fee may be negotiated at management’s discretion.
  • Payments are processed via direct debit or credit card.
  • A valid card must be on file.
  • Failed transactions incur a $10 fee.
  • If payment fails for more than five days without response, the account may be sent to a debt collection agency, with associated fees passed on to the member.
  • Memberships auto-renew after the minimum term unless cancelled.
  • Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds on payment days and notifying us of any credit card changes at least 72 hours before the next debit.
  • A joining fee may apply to certain memberships.

  1. Membership Non-Payments

  • In cases of non-payment, membership details may be forwarded to a collection agency.
  • Continued non-payment may be escalated to VCAT.
  • Any associated taxes, legal fees, and collection costs will be charged to the member.
  • Any payments received will be applied first to legal and collection fees, then to outstanding balances.

 

4. Membership Cancellation

  • Memberships can only be cancelled after completing the minimum commitment period.
  • A minimum of 2 weeks' notice is required for cancellation.
  • If a payment is due within the 2-week notice period, it must be paid before cancellation is processed.
  • Memberships cannot be cancelled while paused. If a membership is paused, it must restart, the next payment must be processed, and then the cancellation request can be submitted with 2 weeks' notice.

 

5. Membership Switches

  • Membership switches require 3 business days' notice to process.
  • Each member is allowed only one membership switch.
  • When switching, the minimum commitment period resets for the new membership.
  • A $10 membership switching fee applies.

  • We will confirm receipt within 2 working days and process the pause within another 2 working days.
  • Pauses are limited to 1 billing period per quarter for reasons such as travel, illness, or work commitments.
  • Memberships cannot be unpaused early.
  • While paused, members cannot book classes.
  • If attending during a pause, members must purchase top-up credits.
  • Pauses do not count toward the required 2-week cancellation notice.
  • If a pause extends beyond the billing cycle, the billing date will shift accordingly. A $10 admin fee applies to reset the billing date.
  • A pause cannot be extended or shortened. If additional time is needed, the membership must unpause first before requesting another pause.
  • Special exceptions for more frequent pauses require submission of the Membership Re-pause Form and incur a $10 admin fee.

 

7. Fee Increases and Terms Changes


Bodhi & Ride reserves the right to amend membership fees and terms at any time during your agreement. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you at least 14 days in advance via email. 

8. Studio: Refunds, No-Shows & Late Cancellations

  • 12-hour class cancellation policy applies.
  • No refunds for missed or late cancelled classes.
  • If you cancel at least 12 hours before class, the credit will be returned to your account.
  • A $20 no-show fee applies if you don’t cancel at least 12 hours prior for unlimited members booked into Ride.
  • Fees are automatically applied to your account.

9. Studio: Waitlist Terms

  • Adding yourself to a waitlist confirms your spot on it.
  • If a spot opens, you'll be automatically added and notified via email to confirm your booking.
  • If you can’t attend a class even at short notice, please don’t add yourself to the waitlist.
