Your music style

An eclectic mix of wherever my mood takes me. One week it could be 70’s disco the next 90’s RnB. I love to match my tunes to the personality of my riders and take them on a journey!

 

When you’re not riding

You’ll find me either behind or in front of a camera, I work in media and love creating content! If I’m not there I’ve escaped the city and am on an adventure somewhere in country Australia getting some fresh air!

 

Intensity of your class

Anywhere from a 6 to a 8 1/2. I always keep it sweaty but like to work within the capabilities of each class so people can refine their technique and feel like they are nailing the basics!

About Ellena

Born and bred in NYC, I spent most of my teenage years as a dancer and entertainer. I used to be a backup dancer for rappers Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim and also a former dancer for the NBA Brooklyn Nets. I used to teach for Soulcycle in NYC and have always been a huge fan of sweat and rhythm. It’s my jab.

When you’re not riding

You’ll find me studying naturopathy and have a huge interest in healthy vegan food, natural remedies and yoga. You can also find me flying my drone as I love creating content! If I’m not there I’ve escaped the City with my gorgeous finance George.

I’m the bubbly person at 6am. Enough said surely? Once a swimmer but gave it up for the snow and sand and soon found myself working in the fitness industry. I’ve been apart of the Bodhi team for over 2 years now having once walked in as a rider and it has been my obsession ever since!

Techno, Dubstep, Electro, House… anything with a big beat to get you in the zone! There’s always an “OH YES!” from the crowd.

 

When you’re not riding

Im studying Chiropractic at RMIT which keeps me pretty busy. I’m a seasonal extremist; the winter is made for skiing and the summer is made for the beach! But really, if I’m not teaching I’m clipped in at Bodhi or shaking at K-Kore… or eating, always eating.

 

Intensity of your class

Intensity of your classes on a scale of 1-10 (1 = Falling asleep, 10 = full on): I like to really challenge my class and always push them to their 10. The sprints are fast and the hills are heavy, theres not mucking about.

“Don’t let the scale scare you! My classes are structured at a level 8 to 10 -I like strength with speed, however classes to be a safe space for everyone to benefit and enjoy. Take the ride at your own pace and your own resistance, I aim to safely push you to your highest level of cardiovascular fitness. Immerse yourself in the challenge and release your inner Lion.”

Sweaty, fast and ready to WORK. Ari’s classes are designed to push you to your limits but there’s always time for a boogy to the RnB tunes. You’ll have so much fun, you won’t even realize your heart rate is through the roof!

 

Your music style

Three letters – RnB! While there’s the odd pop, trap or EDM track here and there – it’s a very rare occasion that Ari isn’t pumping the Beyoncé, Usher or any RnB from the golden era (2000’s)

 

When you’re not riding

When Ari’s not riding, you can almost guarantee she’s training somewhere! As a self-confessed obsessed exerciser

 

Intensity of your class

Let’s be honest, Ari’s classes are a 10 in terms of intensity. Be prepared to sweat your butt off and feel your heart pumping through the roof! There’s nothing like a high-intensity session and there’s nothing Ari loves more than a challenge.
