Learn the fundamentals of spin at Bodhi and Ride!



If you are new to indoor cycling, and want to get the BASICS right, this is the perfect class for you.

We’ll show you how to clip in and out, we’ll go through the bike set up, and we’ll run a 35 min class end-to-end so you can get started with us, without feeling intimidated. This will be a slower paced class, suitable for all levels.

Why Spin?

In a RIDE class, you will burn between 250 – 600 calories. Because we offer full-body workouts, you will tone muscles and shred fat. Your metabolism will increase and thanks to the afterburn effect, you’ll keep burning fat for hours after a class.

We’ve designed our class structure on the knowledge that HIIT (high-intensity interval training), is a technique in which you give one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Bodhi & Ride is a revolution in the Australian fitness industry, combining a nightclub environment with whole body fitness for an experience that’s fun and effective.

A typical class burns 400-600 calories, and is set in our RIDE CHAMBER: 28 bikes, nightclub lighting, 45 minutes of DJ-sampled music, and cardio and weight training for upper and lower body. We offer high intensity cardio workouts, interspersed with periods of mindfulness and upper body training.

Vogue called our classes a ‘Disco Cardio Party’, where we take traditional spin classes to a totally new level. We’ve been interviewed by Channel 9 and The Project, and we’ve even got the Real Housewives of Melbourne sweaty!
